Technical Info:
Shutter: 1/3
Aperture: f9
ISO: 800
For this assignment I shot for still life. For my favorite picture I went up to my room and saw these two necklaces and I liked the shape and shadows they created against my wall. This week I had to set up most of the pictures that I took, but this one was just how it on my wall. I had problems getting the camera to focus so I would switch it back to manual mode to take the pictures. My room is also very dark so I had to turn the ISO up fairly high

Shadows and Light
Technical Info:
Aperture: f14
Shutter Speed: 1/50
ISO: 400
This week I shot for shadows and light. For my favorite picture I held a fan in front of my piano light to create a light effect. I learned that you have to be vary patient with your camera with low light because it doesn't want to focus the way you want it to.

Gimp assignment 4, Panoramic
This week we worked on making panoramic pictures in gimp. We used the eraser tool, the perspective tool and the shear tool in order to fix the pictures. I didn't overlap the left and middle picture enough so I had a hard tim blending them together.

Black and White
Technical Info:
Shutter Speed: 1/60
ISO: 100
Aperture: unknown
For this assignment I went into Ann Arbor originally to shoot for architecture, but I loved the way the pictures looked in black in white and decided to change assignments. I learned that you have to pay attention to people in your picture and people who are trying to get by you.
