For this assignment I chose to do light painting. I learned that it takes a long time to set up and you have to be careful with a tripod and it takes a lot of planning to get a good picture. My mom lost the tripod and I ended up having to strap the camera to the tripod with extra straps for a different camera.

Car Gimp Assignment
We began working with gimp to fix our photos today by working on a picture of a car. I learned that levels work really well to improve pictures very quickly and the clone tool will get rid of any thing you want to get rid of in the photo

For this assignment we experimented with 11 different elements of composition in order to improve the photos we are going to take throughout the class.

Symmetry = Hallway
Depth of Field = Stair Rail and Clock
Rule of Thirds = Tree

What We learned:
I learned that the Rule of Thirds improves the quality of just about any picture and makes it look more professional.
